Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio is all set to launch a new tariff plans under ‘Dhan dhana Dhan’ offer. The new tariffs would come in at Rs 399 and Rs 349, thereby offering ‘Everyday More Value’ plan, giving 20% more data than the market, the company said.
All local, STD, roaming voice calls on the Jio network are still unlimited and free on both prepaid and post-paid plans.
Jio’s prepaid plans still begin from Rs 19 and go up to Rs 9999, ranging from validity of one day to 390 days, under its new revised 4G data plans. The earlier Rs 309 plan which was valid for 28 days, now has a validity of 56 days and will offer customers 1GB data per day.
The new Rs 349 plan, which too has a validity for 56 days, will offer 10+10GB data at 4G speed while the Rs 399 plan will offer 84GB data at 4G speed with a Fair Usage Policy of 1GB per day for 84 days, the company said.
The Rs 309 plan offers 60 GB data at 4G speed for a period of two months. For Rs 349 plan, Jio customers can avail of 10+10GB data of 4G speed, available for two months.
The Rs 399 plan has a validity of three months and offers 90GB data with an FUP of 1GB per day.
Reliance Jio was in news after reports suggested a possible data breach of its customers. Jio, run by Reliance Industries Ltd, launched last September and has already added over 100 million subscribers.
Reliance was quick to response saying that its customers’ data is “safe” as it continues further investigation.
